Understanding Your Engagement Agreement

Your Engagement Agreement — Key Points

Before work begins, you'll sign an engagement agreement that outlines the scope, timeline, deliverables, and terms of your project. Here's what to look for.

Scope of Work

The SOW defines exactly what will be built, optimized, or managed during your engagement. Any work outside the SOW requires a change order.

Timeline & Milestones

Your agreement includes a project timeline with key milestones. Delays caused by missing client assets or approvals may shift the timeline accordingly.

Billing & Payment Terms

Most engagements are billed monthly or in project-based installments. Payment is due within 15 days of invoice. Late payments may pause active work.

Intellectual Property

All creative assets, code, and strategy documents produced during your engagement become your property upon final payment.

Confidentiality

Profitable Media treats all client data, strategies, and business information as strictly confidential. We do not share client information with third parties.

If you have questions about your specific agreement, contact your account manager or submit a ticket.
